Fearless Building Inspections donates $2,650 to the Disaster Relief Fund in Nepal

On the 26th of August 2026, a severe flash flood swept through Nepal, devastating the local communities of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gokha and Tanahun. As a result, thousands of people lost their lives, many others were missing, and families were completely displaced.

As the Nepali community face the enormous challenge of rebuilding their lives, Fearless Building Inspection set aside $50 of every building inspection completed in September and donated $2,650 to the Disaster Relief Fund in Nepal, helping support those affected by this tragedy.

For Fearless Building Inspections’ owner, Peter Genders, the initiative was meaningful. “I have done dozens of inspections for lovely Nepali clients and, more recently, my heart surgeon is also Nepali”, Peter shared.

The fundraising initiative from Fearless Building Inspections was Peter’s way to honour his relationship with the Nepali community in Tasmania, while also raising the money needed to help families affected by the Nepali flood tragedy.

The brothers Mukesh and Nitesh were given the symbolic cheque representing the $2,650 raised through the initiative. “It was lovely to use my work for a good cause”, Peter concluded.
